May pigeons consists of the family team of John May Snr and his son Darren May along with his wife Sarah and their eldest son ​Josh. One shared stock loft with two separate racing lofts in different locations – J May & Son (John) and Mr & Mrs May & Son (Darren, Sarah and Josh).
Our Aim
Our Aim
Our aim is to provide top class winning pigeons with not only fantastic breeding, but bred from champions and proven lines which have been tested by ourselves and others on the road. This strategy optimises our breeding success, as our breeding loft are only children of champions and/or champions in their own right. Our saying goes "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree", meaning the closer they are to the champion, we believe that there is a higher chance of them being champions themselves.

We have spent many years sourcing the absolute best pigeons from winning lofts across Europe. We have bought children of many Champion pigeons including; Rossi (Spider-man), Pitbull (Last Pitbull, Pied Pitbull, Pitbull Superke), De Power (Power Girl), Friendship (Lord Friendship), Cowgirl (Lady Cowgirl) and many more. We have also purchased full rounds of youngsters from the likes of Yves De Wit, David Peeters, Vermeerbergen-Wilms, Robin Van Leuven. When we purchase rounds of pigeons, we race them all. By doing this we believe we have weaned these rounds down to the absolute best lines from these fanciers, as the ones left are the champion racers. We have now combined these champion pigeons into our own family, May Pigeons and we do believe that we have produced the perfect sprint family.
